Planning for Christmas- Sunday Sermon December 11, 2011

I pray that your plans for Christmas include making time for the Savior we celebrate. In today's sermon, we examine how God began to reveal His plans for the first Christmas way back in the Garden of Eden. We then see the fruition of His plan in sending the angel Gabriel to tell Mary that she was to bear the Christ Child. Our primary scripture passage is found in Luke 1: 26-38.

God's perfect plan included the offer of salvation to you and me. Have you accepted God's wonderful gift of His Son? If not, I invite you do do so today.

Can You Give Too Much? Sunday Sermon December 4. 2011

As we approach the celebration of Christmas, everyone gets in such a stir finding the perfect gifts for everyone on their list. Some folks will put themselves in debt to make sure that their children get everything they want. While there is nothing wrong with giving gifts to those we love, we need to make sure that we are giving the right way. In today's sermon, we examine the question, "Can You Give Too Much?" in light of God's principles of giving. The scripture for today's message is found in 2 Corinthians 9: 6-15.

May the Lord richly bless you as you look forward to coming of the Christ Child.
